This advertisement really shocked me. On one hand I think that it could be saying that fashion is addicting or at least their clothing line, Sisley, is addicting. On the other hand I wondered is this advertisement playing on the fact that people think models all starve theirselves or use drugs to stay thin. There is so many different meanings depending upon who is viewing this advertisement but I personally thought it was risky because some people could tie Sisley with drug using in the fashion industry or condoning eating disorders. No matter what though it definitly gets your attention good or bad.

  1. This is shocking, and poor advertising in my taste. I know some say that any attention is good attention, however I disagree. I feel like this tactic sends a negative message. Great find, though!

  2. Wow. Who thought that this kind of advertisement would sell clothes? Some people had to sit down and say, "that's a great idea lets run it." It's amazing how far our advertising has come, and how we have got to this. I'm not one to really by into any attention is good attention either, but who knows. My thing is that in this ad is it really going to make anyone buy their stuff?I truly do wonder that.

  3. This is crazy. I mean it's kind of funny, but crazy at the same time. I agree with Dustin, advertising really has come so far and it's so different than how it used to be...
